Cleaning NIOX VERO®

So, how do you clean NIOX VERO®?

Important: Do not clean your NIOX® device with any alcohol-containing products.
To clean your NIOX® device, simply wipe with a water-dampened cloth, mild cleaning solution or wipes. Please do not use compressed or canned air, or alcohol-containing products to clean the device. Alcohol can permanently damage the device.

Can I clean the device with wipes?
Your NIOX® device can be cleaned with wipes but they must be water-based or made with a solution that doesn’t contain alcohol. Some of the most common approved active ingredients include:

• Sodium Hypochlorite <1.5%
• Quaternary Ammonium Compounds <5%
• Biguanides <1%
• Isothiazolinones 0.01%
• Pentapotassium bis(peroxymonosulphate)
• bis(sulphate) 40-55%
• Malic acid 20-25%
• Sulphamidic acid 4-6%
• Sodium dodecylbenzenesulfonate 3-5%
• Dipotassium peroxodisulphate <1.56%
• Glucoprotamine 25-30%
• Diethylene glycol mono-butyl ether 10-20%
• Hydrogen Peroxide <2.5%
• Glycolic Acid <2.5%
