Gender/Age: Female under 12 years old
History: Four courses of prednisolone in the past two years, regular use of ICS with good adherence and inhaler technique

• Frequent asthma attacks
• Limited participation in physical activities
• Frequent school absences

Despite good medication adherence and proper inhaler use, the patient continued to experience symptoms. Her parents were hesitant to increase her medication without a clearer understanding of her condition.

Inhaled Corticosteroid (ICS): Based on the elevated FeNO levels, her inhaled corticosteroid dose was increased.
Asthma Action Plan: The patient received a personalised asthma action plan and education on managing symptoms and handling emergencies.

• Within two weeks, the patient’s symptoms improved significantly. She experienced fewer asthma attacks, her school attendance increased, and she was able to participate in sports.
