We started with listening

Our customers are important to us. We wanted our next product to fit with their needs; the busy schedules, the time-pressured clinics, the need for accuracy without complexity, and the demand for seamless integration into everyday practice. We listened to years of user feedback and began designing.

Healthcare professionals told us what worked and what could be improved. Some wanted a bigger screen. Others wished for a longer breathing handle tube. A few grew tired of misplacing handle caps or asked if the device could be easier to move between rooms.

These weren’t just comments, they were insights. Insights that guided us as we began designing the future of FeNO by NIOX®.

The design process

Our goal was simple: create a device that would maintain the characteristics you love, add in the features you need, all in a package that would feel familiar, yet entirely new.

Our dedicated design team started years ago. We looked at every detail, from external features to the user interface, ensuring every feature was developed to modernise the FeNO by NIOX® testing experience – making it easier, simpler and more intuitive than ever before. That is how NIOX PRO® was born.

NIOX PRO® still features NIOX Accessible Aids® with audio and visual cues for testing, nasal testing capabilities, a 6-second child mode, and ambient NO removal built into every test. And just like its predecessor, NIOX PRO® never needs to be recalibrated or serviced – keeping things simple for clinicians everywhere.
