NIOX PRO® was inspired by the healthcare professionals who use our devices. Every aspect of NIOX PRO® has been carefully crafted to improve usability, efficiency and user experience. What is new?

Stunning 7” HD full-colour touchscreen

The NIOX PRO® offers a larger screen with sharper visuals and vivid animations, offering a vibrant high-definition interface that makes the experience faster and more intuitive than ever before.

Refined portability

Portability has been refined with a strong integrated carry handle, making the NIOX PRO® even more portable than its predecessor. It is easy to move between consulting rooms and clinics. An optimised kickstand and non-slip feet make it stable in use and perfect for desktop testing.

Enhanced Breathing Handle design

The redesigned NIOX® Breathing Handle now features longer tubing without compromising test accuracy.1 The extra tubing allows for a more comfortable desktop testing experience for patients. Alongside this, NIOX PRO® now features a in-built cap and handle holder, eliminating the risk of misplaced parts and ensuring the breathing handle is always secure and ready for use.

New Patient Filter technology

The updated FeNO Protect Patient Filter® has been ergonomically shaped for a more natural, comfortable fit, ideal for both adults and children, whilst delivering outstanding protection with ≥99.99% bacterial and ≥99.97% viral filtration efficiency.1 This ensures compliance without compromising airflow or patient comfort.

Intelligent cable management and effortless power control

Integrated inserts keep cables tidy, whilst the new power button makes operation straightforward. Simply press and hold to power the device on or off, or tap to wake up from sleep mode.

On-device nasal NO testing

With NIOX PRO®, you get one device with two cutting-edge technologies. NIOX PRO® facilitates on-device nNO testing for the first time – so, you can now see the nNO ppb graph on the device screen in real-time.

While the NIOX PRO® introduces a host of new capabilities, it retains the core features that have made NIOX® the technology of choice for FeNO testing worldwide.4

Maintaining the same sensor technology, NIOX PRO® continues to deliver accurate and reproducible measurements for results that you can rely on.1 We pride ourselves on measuring NO directly from the airways, therefore, the device still removes ambient NO on inhalation to avoid any contamination from the environment - requiring just one test for an accurate result.1,5

Additionally, its calibration-free design remains unchanged, removing the need for maintenance and recalibration downtime, minimising disruption and keeping ongoing service simple and easy.

NIOX PRO® improves on its accessibility features with upgraded visual and audio aids to guide patients through the test, as well as a dedicated 6-second test mode for children. The software is also designed with carefully selected visual colours and contrasts, ensuring that users who struggle with colour perception can still clearly distinguish instructions and feedback.
