Reproducibility of FeNO using NIOX MINO®

This list summarizes studies on intrasession reproducibility performed in healthy subjects and/or in patients with stable asthma. Both children and adults have been studied. The reference numbers refer to the NIOX MINO ® Product References page.

• Alving et al described mean standard deviation of 1.2 ppb based on three measurements using NIOX and 1.1 ppb using NIOX MINO ® [2]

• Gill et al presented mean standard deviation of <3 ppb at exhaled NO levels <30 ppb and mean coefficient of variation of <10% at >30 ppb based on three measurements with three different operators using NIOX MINO ® [3]

• McGill et al showed median coefficient of variation of 11.8% based on three measurements using NIOX and 7.4% using NIOX MINO ® [4]

• Khalili et al demonstrated a mean coefficient of variation of 9% based on three measurements using three different NIOX MINO ® instruments [10]

• Takalo et al described a coefficient of repeatability of 2.4 ppb using
NIOX MINO ® [22]

• Schiller et al described intraclass correlation coefficient of 0.99 based on three measurements using NIOX MINO ® [30]

• Selby et al showed intrasubject mean difference of 1.4 ppb based on paired measurements using NIOX MINO ® [39]

• Kalliola et al demonstrated mean difference of 1.4 ppb based on paired measurements using NIOX and 1.0 ppb using NIOX MINO ® [56]
